A&C Canadian Music Fest Showcase To Feature Zeus, Eight and a Half And More

Arts & Crafts' Canadian Music Fest showcase will take place Friday, March 23 at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern. The first crop of announced artists includes Zeus, whose sophomore album Busting Visions is out March 27, Eight and a Half, featuring members of BSS and The Stills, Vancouver's Gold & Youth (formerly The Racoons), and Toronto duo Snowblink. Eight and a Half Premieres New Single 'Go Ego' On MTV Hive

Following the release of debut single "Scissors" in late 2011, Eight and a Half has teamed with MTV Hive to premiere "Go Ego," the second single from its self-titled debut full-length, available on Arts & Crafts April 10. The Darcys' AJA Available Now: Free Download

AJA, the second in a trilogy of releases from Toronto art rock quartet The Darcys, is available today, January 24. The album - an interpretation of Steely Dan's 1977 classic - is available for free digitally at TheDarcys.ca alongside the band's self-titled album, released October 25. The album is also available on limited edition 180-gram translucent red vinyl. The Darcys will spend the next two months touring both albums across North America in support of Arkells and Bombay Bicycle Club before heading to SXSW.

Arts & Crafts is pleased to announce the signing of Gold & Youth - the B.C. bred trio formerly known as The Racoons - whose long-awaited full-length will be released in 2012. The debut was produced by Colin Stewart - (Black Mountain, New Pornographers, Dan Mangan) and mixed by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Grizzly Bear, Interpol). The band will make its Arts & Crafts live debut during a three-day U.S. run in February alongside label mates Zeus and Eight and a Half.

Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Los Campesinos! has been forced to cancel its January 20th Montreal show at La Sala Rossa. As well, the January 19th Boston show at Paradise Rock Club has now been moved to January 20. All tickets for the original Boston show will still be honoured on January 20. The band extends its sincerest apologies for any inconvenience these changes have caused for fans in the Montreal and Boston markets.
