Trust & The Darcys Among First Wave Of Artists Announced For The Great Escape

Trust and The Darcys are pleased to be among the first wave of artists announced as part of The Great Escape festival, to be held in Brighton, UK from May 10-12.

Dan Mangan To Join Passion Pit, Rich Aucoin At CMW Indie Awards

Dan Mangan will perform at the Canadian Music Week Indie Awards March 24, 2012.

The event, held at The Canadian Room of the Fairmont Royal York, will see Mangan play songs from his critically lauded 2011 release Oh Fortune , and be joined by class of musical elite that includes Passion Pit, Rich Aucoin, The Sheepdogs and more.

Bishop Morocco Signs To Arts & Crafts: Old Boys EP Out March 13

Arts & Crafts will release Old Boys - the new EP from Toronto's Bishop Morocco , March 13.

Bishop Morocco is the musical vision of James Sayce and Jake Fairley. The Toronto-based duo recorded its 2008 self-titled debut at a homemade studio in their Groningen, Netherlands apartment, earning international attention from the likes of Parisian tastemaker Collette and helping develop a strong following at home in Canada.

Two years later, Bishop Morocco arrives on Arts & Crafts with Old Boys , a six-track EP on which the band strays from its original new wave influences towards a thicker, more contemplative sound, aided by the addition of Ian Worang on guitar and Jon McCann on drums.

With a sound once described by Under The Radar Magazine as "shimmery and sensual new wave that stands on the shoulders of New Order and Joy Division," and by the National Post as "sweetly moody atmospheric pop," Old Boys is poised to captivate new fans and satiate an already dedicated following of critics and trendsetters.
